WHAT IS A CCM VOLUNTEER

CCM Volunteers are appointed by the church to serve in the
various areas within the ministry.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A VOLUNTEER AND A MEMBER?
Both are part of the CCM family, and valued equally. The CCM member is defined as a church family member, where the CCM volunteer enters a position of leadership and accountability.

BENEFITS OF VOLUNTEERING AT CCM
• Enter a position of leadership where growth and training is a big
opportunity and spiritual benefit.
• Get to attend all major events, fellowships and dedicated training and volunteer functions.
• Receive direct interaction and spiritual input from CCM leadership

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM OUR VOLUNTEERS
Because our volunteers are the faces of the ministry and the
contact points between our leadership and each CCM member and visitor, we have a few guidelines to ensure that all of our volunteers understand and are aware of the immense responsibility of their roles at CCM, as well as their part in the bigger unity of the church, and their part in the experience of each person entering the
premises, looking to experience God:

• Must be born again and filled with the Holy Spirit
• Must be a CCM member and regular attendee for 2–3 months
• Carry the heart and vision of the church and its leadership
• Be committed to the church and the area in which you serve
• Be a good team player
• Have a spirit and attitude of excellence
• Carry the heart and vision of the church and its leadership
• Build relationships and maintain it
• Be informative and aware of all church events and procedures

• Feel called for and passionate about the area of ministry that you choose to volunteer in
• Be a representative in heart and nature of our culture points, and have a truly Christ-like nature. Although it’s not the ten commandments, we do have some important rules!
Thou shall not murder (We speak life over our members, leaders and celebrations, so we:
• Don’t gossip
• Don’t undermine fellow members and leaders
• Always have a spirit and attitude of excellence
• Not driven for the limelight, but called to serve and minister
• Respect and honour fellow volunteers
• Be punctual and if you can’t assist according to your duty roster, notify leaders well in advance
